Writing skills are increasingly important for both academic and professional success.  Yet schools, in today’s tight budget era, do not have the teaching resources to provide students with the systematic writing practice with feedback that they need to develop their skills.  And homeschool parents too find that teaching writing is problematic: with no answer key, their feedback often results in long acrimonious discussions with their students.
